Number 4:1

"The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their clans and their fathers' houses, from thirty years old up to fifty years old, all who can come on duty, to do the work in the tent of meeting." Num. 4:1

Maybe Jesus started is 'public' ministry at 30 years of age because he was to be the Greatest of all people to execute a priestly ministry for man and God.

Hello & Shalom All!

Hannah has inspired me in many different ways over the last 5 yrs.
1st- she wrote out the Torah for me for a wedding gifts
- that inspired me to make a copy of the NT for myself and my future family.
2nd- more recently she has been reading the one year bible with group of women in our church. They simply get together on Monday nights and sit in silence and read the bible to themselves for around 2 hrs. they then write out the observations (and or questions) then they look for application to their individual lives.

This has been very fruitful for Hannah. She has invited other people (friends) to read along with the group. They keep in touch through e-mail and phone calls to spur each other on in this long journey through the WordS of God.

I have decided to crash their party and buck the norm and be a guy in the group (I don't think I am actually going to go to the Womens group on Monday, to much estragene for my liking.) However, I have been inspired to create a Family Meyer FL./Greenberg NJ Bible One Year Blog.

For those who are wondering what the heck is BLOG? Well, good question. A blog is an internet journal of sorts that is open to the public. We can all post questions and comments about the Bible Passage then we can all learn from each other and spur each other on in good deeds for God glory.
